Shanna (Jordan Ladd), Arlene (Vanessa Ferlito), and Julia (Sydney Poitier) are driving in Austin, Texas. They don't realize is that they are being followed by a Chevy Nova. At a bar they see Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russel). Pam, a rival of Julia's, shows up to the bar. Arlene realizes Mike has been following them all day. Mike offers Pam a ride home. Mike is a serial killer who preys on young women. He drives wildly and kills Pam. Mike follows the car driven by the other women. He collides with them killing them. Mike survives. The second portion of the movie involves Lee (Mary Winstead), Abernathy (Rosario Dawson), Kim (Tracie Thoms), and Zoe (Zoe Bell) who are four friends working on a movie. Zoe sees an add for a Dodge Challenger in a paper and wants test drive it. While driving it, Mike tries to force them off the road. Eventually, they stop and Mike gets out of his car saying he was only playing around a little. Kim shoots Mike in the arm. Mike flees and the women start pursuing him. They force Mike into a collision and then drag him out to beat him to death.
