The Super Bowl Pool uses the
same concept as the Weekly SportsBox Pool I offered throughout the
regular season. It is the traditional square box, in which you
select a square in a 100 square grid.
Example of the Super Bowl Pool Grid

After the pool is closed, the numbers 0-9 are
randomly placed along one horizontal side and one vertical side of
the grid (in red on the sample grid below), each side representing
one of the two teams. The numbers represent the last digit of the
scores for each team.
Example of a Completed Super Bowl Pool Grid

The winning squares are determined by taking
the last digit of of the score for each team and finding the
intersection point on the grid. In this example, if the actual score
at the end of the 1st quarter was AFC 10, NFC 7, the winning
square would be at the intersection of AFC 0, NFC 7. Sandy Koufax
would be the 1st quarter winner.
