Both teams were tied at 8 runs apiece after nine innings. Milwaukee ended up winning it in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Bob Hazle lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 9th of the season). Milwaukee rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon. Bob Buhl(18-8) went 9 and 2/3 innings allowing 8 runs for the win. Ernie Johnson recorded the save, his 12th. Jim Brosnan(4-5) was tagged with the loss in relief. 'I was a little good, a little bad and a little ugly.' said Buhl, 'I was just giving us a chance to win.'
