McDaniel(6-9) was very good in the win. He didn't allow much, just 5 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings. St. Louis banged out 10 on the night. Ruben Gomez(11-12) was the loser. He pitched 7 innings giving up 8 hits and no walks.
