Miller(5-5) had a strong outing. He gave up just 6 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 3.82 to 3.40. New York finished with 13 hits in the victory. The loss was charged to Warren Spahn(11-8). He pitched 8 innings allowing 10 hits and 2 walks.
