Roy McMillan had a big day at the plate. He slapped a single plating two runs in the 1st inning, laced a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 3rd inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 9th inning. Cincinnati totaled 12 on the afternoon. Nuxhall(7-3) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Dick Drott(4-5) ended up with the loss. Nuxhall didn't realize how many strikeouts he was racking up. When told he had 10 he was obviously surprised, 'No kidding? Man, I knew that I had a decent total, but I didn't think I had K'd that many. Say, that's pretty good, isn't it?' MILWAUKEE AT ST. Dickson(5-5) was in control of the game from the outset. He surrendered only 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. St. Louis rapped out 7 hits for the night. Bob Buhl(7-7) was the losing pitcher. Fred Haney was obviously impressed with the pitching of Dickson, 'That guy made us look a little silly out there tonight. We just couldn't get to him at all - everything was working for him. I just hope that he got that kinda performance out of his system.'
