Robinson provided much of the offense. He doubled which was good for two runs in the 1st inning, stroked a one-base hit in the 3rd inning, lined a base-hit in the 4th inning and doubled plating two runs in the 5th inning. Cincinnati lit up the scoreboard in the 1st inning plating 4 runs and the 3rd inning which saw them plate 5 runs on 6 hits. Cincinnati managed 17 in their victory. Gross(4-0) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Lindy McDaniel(0-3) was the loser. He was knocked around, surrendering 8 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
